What kind of helmet do you have ? Motocross style ?

I am sure helmets like vega can fit easily on most scooter, but I am yet to find one that can fit my SOL unicorn :Frustrati it doesn't fit even on my access, which has lot of storage space.
Back to topic, I had to get a scooter for commute and keep my Duke only for weekends, I am sure many would do the same once we have scooters in the 150cc and above.

Expected Launch –*2019
Expected Price –*Rs. 1, 00, 000

This, if launched would be the first liquid-cooled scooter in the Indian Market.
Would be a great alternative to motorbikes and should be fun to ride.
Better late than never :)
Yamaha has finally got the Aerox 155 homologated in India and would be it's first maxi-scooter here. Powered by 155cc engine, capable of 14.8 BHP @ 8,000 RPM.
Cheers!

Your guess work is correct. GVW is gross vehicle weight which indicates how much weight it can carry including the rider, pillion, scooter, fuel and other consumable.

Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) is the total vehicle loaded weight. That’s the maximum permissible weight of the scooter, rider and pillion.
Cheers
Saw that the Aerox 155 has been homologated for India, and went to check out a few videos of it. Apparently there's a racing series with this scooter in Malaysia (dubbed the NVX 155 there I think). Properly exciting racing for the lead in the final 4 laps!

There is no way this will be a viable proposition in terms of price. 1.4 L to 1.5 L ex-showroom is almost a given. Karnataka on-road will be 2.0L :Frustrati
My guesstimate is based on the current R15 engine-derived bikes and the Malaysian retail price is around 1.91L on conversion to INR.
That will make it the most expensive scooter from brands that sell regular commuter scooters.
This will just fade due to the high price.
Any update on launch? Will it be a surprise show at the Sep 21, along with new R15?

Maxi Scooters have never found traction. The ones I remember, Bajaj M80 and the Hero Honda Street did not farewell. The Street had clutchless gear change and cyclic gears.
The price of the Aerox is another concern. This will probably be priced at 1.8L to 2.0L ex-showroom. I am quoting more than my post about prices last time, this is based on the current trend of new launches in the 2-wheeler segment.
This thread is already 3 years old and we do not seem to have concrete data. I would prefer to forget Aerox until Yamaha launches an official teaser.
