Royal Enfield has launched the Classic Signals 350 ABS priced at Rs. 1,61,728 (ex-showroom, Chennai). It is the first Royal Enfield model in India to get dual-channel ABS and is available in two colour options - Airborne Blue and Stormrider Sand, both inspired by the Indian Armed Forces.

It has a unique serial number stencilled on the tank, a decal and a metal Royal Enfield badge in gold and green. Parts like the wheel rims, exhaust, engine and crankcase are all finished in black. Owners can also choose from a wide range of accessories including panniers, engine guards, touring seats, windshield kit, rear racks, cast aluminium wheels among others.

Re: Royal Enfield Classic Signals 350 with 2-channel ABS launched at Rs. 1.61 lakh

Finally after speculating for ages the first Royal Enfield to sport ABS is finally being sold in India.

Any inputs on which ABS system it uses and if it can be switched off?

Overall I still feel its way expensive for what it offers. Hoping the quality improves, the costs are reduced and the downtime is cut to a minimum.

Strangely, I'm not able to see the ABS ring on the disc in both the photos. Looks like the ones on the photos are not the ABS version

Good eyes,

Are they by any chance blacked out?, even if they are the rear wheel shows no signs of the presence of an ABS ring.

Can't believe enfield make such a blunder especially while launching a watershed product.

1.61 lac Ex showroom price!

Regular Classic 350 retails at 1.33 - 1.35 lac Ex showroom. So this one is almost 26k more for the cosmetics + ABS!

Honda charges a premium of 30k for ABS on the CBR 250 and Bajaj's Dominar - 16k extra for ABS. I'm waiting for the regular C350 to launch with ABS at maybe 18-20k premium, which may be successful!

Quoting my post from the Introduction of rear disc brake on the Classics thread, with GTO's reply:

Hoping that the next upgrade will be ABS!!
And not a "Limited Edition" with fancy graphics!

Well the first video is out and clearly shows the ABS rings, that's all information it has, expecting a detailed brochure tomorrow.

Also making an entry is the Low Fuel warning lamp, so far seen only on the 500s.

Yes, this clearly has the rings front and back, so its sure its a dual channel ABS. A move in the right direction

Does it have a switchable ABS? Given the fact that they have included much needed ABS after government has made it mandatory shows that how much they care for their customers. Too little too late I'd say 😤

I read elsewhere that the bike would be shipped with rear passenger seat as well, though the launch snaps show only one seat.

Unconfirmed though.

Saw the bike in person at a store today and it didn't have a rear seat.

If I'm not wrong there was a talk about this single/dual seats on RE's a few years back when the Classic's came out, the talk around town was that the RTO would not go ahead with registration unless the motorcycle came in with both seats in place as homologation records state it to carry 2 people.
