True, the thump fans are blown away by the power and refinement of the 650 twins, it's time for Enfield to stop selling classic singles and add a twin engine to the classic frame. Lets make the bike feel like a motorcycle and not a tractor, now you can Enfield.

As my Himalayan was going through the 3rd service, casually spoke to the friendly sales guy (who handled my Himalayan's sale) at the showroom. They have hardly sold any 500s (especially the Dessert storm (2.65 on road)). Logically speaking, I would plonk in another 60k and get the Interceptor.
The standard 350 is more than enough to satisfy those who like the thump. The 500, unfortunately, might die a slow death, sadly.

RIP to the bikes that have been most likely been discontinued, temporarily or permanently, due to multiple factors and are experiencing zero dispatches.

- Bajaj V15 (the V12 already met it's quiet demise earlier)
- Hero Achiever 150
- Honda CB Unicorn 160
- Suzuki Lets (no longer on the Suzuki webpage)
- Suzuki Hayate (no longer on the Suzuki webpage)
- Yamaha SZ

There are some reports on each of them being discontinued in the Indian automobile media websites if you search for it.

.
The rate at which Bajaj introduces new models and then discontinues them is really alarming. We will have to wait and see how many models will be axed before BS-VI kicks in.

But inspite of this strategy, they are the only OEM that seem to be doing good these last few months.
