Going by the nomenclature, the Royal Enfield Hunter will most likely feature an off-road biased persona and join the Royal Enfield Himalayan in the company’s portfolio. The displacement details about the new model are yet to be known.

Love it. Their name selection is bang on. RE is managing to get most things right! I think they are looking at a long list of 'outdoorsy' nomenclatures.

Royal Enfield Hunter trademark application filed

Royal Enfield has filed a trademark application for 'Royal Enfield Hunter' in India.

A media report suggests that the Hunter range could feature off-road capable bikes like the Himalayan. However, details about the new range are still unknown.

Royal Enfield is reportedly working on lightweight bikes for women and young riders as well. These could be sold under the Explorer brand. These are likely to be roadster-styled motorcycles with a lower seating position.

It is also rumoured that the next-generation Thunderbird will be called Meteor.

Re: Royal Enfield Hunter trademark application filed

Going off the rumours and recent spy shots, my guess is this hunter is gonna be either a road biased 250 adventure bike, or a 250 scrambler.
