Bajaj Pulsar RS200 BS6 gets dual-channel ABS

The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 has been updated with a BS6-compliant engine. It also comes with dual-channel ABS. The bike is priced at Rs. 1,44,966 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Pulsar RS200 is powered by a 200cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 24 BHP @ 9,750 rpm and 18.7 Nm @ 8,000 rpm. The bike comes with a 300 mm disc brake at the front and 230 mm disc brake at the rear and has dual-channel ABS.

The Pulsar RS200 features twin projector headlamps, clip-on handlebars, semi-digital instrument cluster and a split seat. The bike comes with alloy wheels.

In roughly the same price bracket, the REs BS6 upgrade only pushed the price up by ₹2700 approx. I was under the impression that bringing that engine up to spec was going to be more expensive on our pockets.
