No mention of the parent company is understandable given the current political climate.

Gemopai is joint venture between Goreen E-Mobility and China based Opai Electric.

Who is the audience for this bike ? Is it the local delivery boys or folks from rural India.

At this price point and utility focus, Its hard to beat the TVS XL series.

I see this as another half baked attempt through some Chinese affiliated organisation.
Cant really see any market for this. City youngsters will not want to ride it because of its incomplete looks. Elderly folk: err maybe not. Rural folk: Utility of the provided luggage carrier and no pillion? Really when 3-4 people routinely ride on a TVS XL, Pass.

Atleast attach a pedal to this cycle or scooter. That will ensure few retired/aged folks who love slow commuting and not worried much about charge too.

These have already been deployed as a last mile connectivity solution by Yulu in Bangalore. Painted blue, these are available for hire and are dropped off all over the place.

Slow, seemingly unsteady, and with not much in terms of lighting, I don’t like them. People weave through traffic on main roads, becoming a hazard due to their low height and slow speed, and I’m not sure if they’re unsteady or if the people riding them are, because they’re best given a wide berth.

This looks very similar to the one offered by a cycle sharing initiative here in Navi Mumbai.

I have ridden one, but frankly its too slow and doesn't feel safe on the public roads. That said, it is a perfect for someone in a large campus, hotel resort or an apartment complex to move about.

I'll stick to my regular cycle.

Similar, but not the same. The way the frame bends around to form the seat section in the Gemopai is very different from the Yulu bikes.

Guess there are many such similar bikes from different Chinese makers.

Yeah, on a second look, it does seem to have slight differences.
