Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India considering launching 500cc bikes in India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has revealed that they are studying the possibility of selling higher range bikes in the Indian market.
The company already sells Unicorn and Shine here in India and has plans to launch some more 100cc bikes.
HMSI is considering plans to import fully built bikes in the 500cc and above range and sell them in the Indian market through their dealers.
HMSI CEO and President Yukihiro Aoshima said in a statement: “We are studying the higher displacement segment and here there are two possibilities open to us. The first is to go for 500 cc and above models where we may look at importing completely built units. But for models less than 500 cc engine displacement, we must study options to assemble them here.”

That's a nice news. It was long time coming I guess.

But these kinda news doesn't always happen in reality soon. I just wish they had.

I think in two years time yamaha, Bajaj and even Enfield is having such plans.

Any way let's hope these things come to reality as early as Possible.
