Atsushi Ogata, President, CEO and Managing Director, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, has stated that the bike maker aims to bring in entry-level affordable products to cater to customers in rural areas.

The new motorcycle would be positioned below the CD 110, which is currently the most affordable commuter bike in Honda's line-up. Prices start at Rs. 64,505 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The CD 110 is powered by a 109.51cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.67 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 9.30 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

Honda has not revealed the exact time frame for the launch of the new entry-level model.
