Cars24 has opened what it claims to be the largest two-wheeler showroom in India. The new showroom is located in East Delhi Mall, Anand Vihar, Delhi.



At this showroom, customers will be able to choose from more than 2,000 handpicked and refurbished pre-owned two wheelers giving them a variety of bikes to choose from. Customers will also have access to services such as RC transfers, comprehensive quality checks, financing options with on-spot loan approval, a 'No Question Asked' 7-day return with 100% money back policy and warranty options for 90 days.

With the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, people are now preferring personal mobility over public transport. Pre-owned two-wheelers have become a pocket friendly option. To meet the high demand, Cars24 plans to scale this business up by starting operations in major metros in the countries over the next few months.

I think this is a great option. Similar to certified pre-owned cars, a multi-brand certified two-wheeler outlet is good. Not sure why a return policy - hope that doesn't get abused and people use it like two-wheeler rental service. I wish they provided at least six months warranty instead of three.

Cars24 model that I know is the opposite and they only had a bidding platform

Good thing ! Just like used 4 wheelers, used two wheelers offer tremendous amount of value if the paperwork is in place.

Hope they open a similar 'showroom' in Pune ! I might get a good used bike !

This is good news!

Right now the used 2-wheeler market is quite unregulated and does not have any brands operating.

This will only benefit the customers! I hope they do open one in Bengaluru as well!

There used to be a market with atleast 100+ shops of second hand two wheelers in narayan or sadashiv peth. It must be still there.

Excellent news for someone like me who is looking for a change. Paperwork is a headache while changing vehicles and this should smoothen the process. Will look forward to them opening up one such outlet in Bangalore where I would trade-in my 13 year old steed for something used.

With current pricing buying new local usage 2-wheeler seems absolutely pointless

Yup, its still there, but it continues to be disorganized and its not as seamless as Cars24. Plus, the probability of getting a shady bike is high there ! I have some interesting story regarding it

It is in Rasta Peth, near Nana Peth automobile spares market. And there doesn't seem to be much change in the way they operate.

But even with Cars24, there are many giving negative reviews. And considering the smaller deal values and smaller profit amounts, I am not sure if this will be sustainable for them. Volumes, though bigger than the cars, still may not be big enough. I have seen a plenty of people buying secondhand car but yet to see anyone buying a secondhand two wheeler. There will be but I feel not many.

Having dealt with them, will always prefer them over dealers, who usually have some issue with name transfer.

Would be great if they could get into superbikes/imports business. Margins will be better too.
