Yamaha FZ-X trademark applied : Upcoming ADV?

Rushlane reports - Yamaha has filed a trademark application with the name ‘Yamaha FZ-X’ in India. This name could be utilised by the Japanese brand for its upcoming adventure motorcycle, based on the FZ25 platform.

Hope it is not another Saluto "RX" scandal - When it was released on the dais before they unveiled the motorcycle, they said... We hope you love this because we are calling it "RX" - Damn!

Well if they plan to launch it with that outdated little speedo console, 5 speed geabox, underpowered 250cc aircooled engine, a stupid face and unjustifiable price tag then better not to launch

. Yamaha, please bring the BS6 R3, or the MT03!

Almost my reaction!

not like yamaha have a dearth of better engines.

Anyway there are other brands who are doing a good job of launches.

Any news on this one? Didn't see any test-mule spotting or anything. After that trademark thing and a couple of renderings, total silence everywhere

Yamaha FZ-X is now homologated. It's powered by the 149cc, 12 BHP single-cylinder engine from FZ/FZS.
