Tried to get into their site, but I think it doesn't seem to be working or I'm confused about the site. |
I too tried several times and not getting OTP, seems their site crashed.
Also unable find their App in the play store yet.
As they somewhere said that test drive is available in 'major cities' from 15th October, I feel the deliveries will begin by the end of October that too in major cities only. If this is going to be correct, then I cannot expect the delivery before December 2021.
So, I am planning to cancel the initial booking.!

Create hype by crashing the portal? These days using technology they can definitely create IT Infrastructure to take loads and looks like portal is hosted on Azure. Either they dint plan their portal to handle loads or they went for a cheap tactics to create hype.
They have now changed the purchase window opening to 9 PM.
Did anyone notice the price hike or did I originally assume it was 99,999?
However, if you browse further, the old price is still reflected
Hopefully, MoveOS doesn't become IMMoveableOS later!!

That's the price without central subsidy, isn't it?

Ridiculous, didn't they expect the demand?

It’s a bug on the home page. Been confirmed via their Twitter handle. Now the window opens at 9 pm.
It's really confusing at this point, the website says Ola S1 instead of Ola S1 pro as 1.35 lakhs. I guess they increased the price of S1 pro, I also believe the first deliveries going to be only the S1 pro.

I think the price shown now is without FAMEII Subsidy. |
True, but the S1 top speed and range are not 115kmph and 181km, they made some mistakes on the website.
Will find out soon enough.
Hopefully by 9pm it doesn't say, 'Sorry come back tomorrow 6am!'

Earlier they said that the scooter could be purchased through Ola and Ola Electric apps, and the latter would be made available in the play store/app store. But, today's tweets mentioned about purchases from only Ola (cabs) app. They probably did this to get more users for their main (cab service) app, and this last minute change would've made them unable to finish setting up everything at 6PM.
Also, the traffic to their website for the past couple of hours would give them an idea of how many of people who reserved are actually interested in purchasing the scooter right away.
They should've seen this coming otherwise.
Sometimes by testing one's patience, Indian manufacturers can turn believers into Anti-nationals, Atmanirbhar can become ANTInirbhar!
Another setback.
Moved the date again to 15th. Don't know what they are up to!
Lot of people will cancel the booking for sure.
Pure breach of trust!
15 Sept 8 am. Bhavish tweeted the same. Goodnight!
