How is the pillion comfort on the Husqvarna 250s?

The Husqvarna 250s, the svart and the vitpilen are some really hot looking motorcycles. Their small pillion seat is a bit concerning however. Now there aren't many videos on the internet on their pillion comfort but so far I've been getting average responses from those videos. Some say it's a bit below average, while others say it's just fine for the city.

Has anyone tried sitting behind one or owns one and rides with a pillion? If so, please share your views on the pillion comfort. It clearly looks like it can easily accommodate a woman who's thin and all, but what about men or women who are taller and heavier? Or average sized?

How does it's pillion comfort compare to sportsbikes such as the r15 v3, rc200, etc. Better than those, or just about the same? Or worse?

Thanks!

Hi Hellrider, biker here. From the looks of the bike, the pillion ought to be comfortable on both the Huskies but it would be best if you took a test ride of the same to ascertain the comfort on your level. Reviews online show only one part of the picture. I always feel that a personalized test ride helps you make your decisions much better.

Thanks for replying. Yes, I agree on the test ride part. The only way to know if you'd be fine on the bike is doing a test ride instead of going by other's reviews solely

Re: How is the pillion comfort on the Husqvarna 250s?

About 20-30 kilometers last week in city traffic with male pillion rider of average build and I didn't hear a complaint. Most of the complaints come before the start as people feel it will be very uncomfortable after seeing the seat. So at least for city ride it seems to be fine. For high way and long distance I couldn't say since I have never tried.

Main problem with a pillion is low ground clearance. You are more likely to hit certain makeshift speed breakers with a pillion than when you are riding solo. There is a plate under the engine for that but it is something worth knowing if you are planning to purchase.
