Team-BHP - How Many RXZoooooomers Team-BHP Have?

Hi Guys. I was surfing net today when suddenly 1 thing come to my mind. I have been observing since i am searching the net that there are so many Bikes clubs are there, but particularly a club dedicated to rxz is not there, especially in India. So starting this thread.
So those bikers with there RXZ come n post.
This thread will be consisting of the model,Color,owner,Mod/Stock Version(4/5speed),top speed, 0-60 figure,milieage,their experience on street racing and problem they have faced will be discussed. I think this will help us lots of us. And this thread will be also help full to RX 135 owners too,as RX 135 has the same engine as RXZ have.

0-60 - Its very powerful
Milieage:You wont belive ..its 48 to 52 per litre.

nope. now power band is at the begining. its having amazing initial pickup and great torqe. lost a bit at the top end. now touches only 100(due to the sprocket having more teeth and Enticer's back wheel set). but i love the initial pickup and that mileage.

3 months back i had changed the entire setup from RX - RXG except the gear box....I am going for the porting job this weekend.. and also a dual paint job... so lets see.. what comes up...

Its is a Yamaha, and extremely dependable. There have been times when the vehicle was left idle for years, and still starts in the first couple of kicks after changing the petrol and Battery. Very enjoyable to ride, and still a beauty when washed and polished!!

This is also my first bike.

Recently had the rings changed, and my only problem is getting it serviced in a reliable service centre of Yamaha, and the spares are becoming sparse by the day.

Model : RXZ (1998)
Owner : I have no idea. There have been a few I would imagine
Colour : Hmmmmmmmmm! Used to be white and red but kinda inbetween paint jobs. Will post once it is done.
Mods : Converted the bike from a 4 speed to a 5 speed, Runs a TVS - Girling disc up front, Box swing arm, porting and a chamber (Not the ones that you get off the shelf) both done at the hands of Mr. B.G. Srinivas. Pulls like a volvo bus after 5k RPM.
Top Speed : Never checked.
Mileage : Who cares! The bike makes me smile. My bro told me its around 19 per litre.
KMS covered : 786 :-) Changed everything in the engine. New gear cogs (Drive and Driven) New crank ....... Etc. Etc. Only the case and the chassis is old.

Thats a few that have been done. Got more on the way. The bike is a pleasure to ride and it still scares me every single time I whack the throttle open.

Is Srinivas also fondly called Budd? He used to work for TVS and used to frequent Torque Center in Vijayanagar. If Yes, you have a 'Z' barrel and chamber to be proud of.

this my 3rd and last rx135. my previous two were 4 speeds and I always wanted a 5 speed one. so I going to keep her for the rest of my life..

I too love my RXZ. It has been a great companion since the last 8 yrs inspite of all the torture it has gone through.

Though it has lost its sheen a bit, its still very zippy in the city traffic. But nowadays on the highways I try to keep the speed 70 or at the most 80.
