Is this a XPulse 200 4V with a factory installed rally kit or is it a revised rally kit for the existing XPulse 200 4V?

Isn;'t the rally kit already on offer for the XPulse?

This "Rally Edition" is a kg heavier than the rally kit - equipped standard Xpulse, has a 12mm longer wheelbase, is overall 12 mm longer as well as taller.

Width remains the same. So this does not seem the same as putting the rally kit parts on a stock Xpulse, but 12mm is not really that much of a difference either.

Think this is going to be the 4v with slightly modified rally kit components pre installed. One won't have to shell out 46k for the rally kit separately and hero can price it at lesser than the 4v+ralky kit cost. Eagerly awaiting this.

Hero XPulse 200 Rally Edition leaked ahead of launch

Last month, details of the Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition were reported in the media. Now, the first images of the bike have leaked online.

The new variant of the XPulse 200 looks like a proper dirt bike. It appears to be kitted out with adjustable rally suspension and is fitted with off-road tyres. The long-travel suspension has raised the bike’s ride height and hence the new side stand.

These look like images from the Hero Rally event in Coimbatore last week. Riders C S Santosh & Ross branch are visible in the photos.

Do not think these are production versions of the XPulse Rally.

Other than the standard rally components fitted on from the factory, what else could be the change on these rally editions?

Are these going to be road legal. Future owners do check the ride height, you may not be able to flat foot both your legs while riding this.

Other than the Rally kit being factory fitted, whats different in the new bike. I believe the price hike is also Similar to the price of the current kit.

This is a limited edition offering from Hero. 16k increase for all the rally hardware except tyres seems good since Hero sells the same kit for existing Xpulse owners at 34k. Not sure if I’m missing something here but this seems to be a good deal IMO. Though that increased seat height would be a deal breaker for most customers I reckon.

Wasn’t this excited about a new bike launch in ages. At 6’4”, most commuter bikes feel terribly cramped. For once, a bike is more suitable for the taller folks out there.

What do I plan on using the bike for? Do I plan to go off-roading often? Not at all - given the terrible roads in Bangalore, and the monstrous speed breakers, I always felt the XPulse would make a great commuter here.

Buying the XPulse 4v and getting the rally kit was on the cards for me and had planned to get it in October. But getting exactly whatever I wanted pre-fitted from the factory at half the price meant the booking got preponed! Waiting for the delivery now.

Congratulations, this is a lovely offering from Hero. I would have happily booked this myself had the Rally Edition been there 2 months back when I got my 200 4v. I completed Spiti and Sach pass on my stock Xpulse earlier this month and while it was so much fun even in stock form, I kept wondering how wonderful would the rally suspension be. So really looking forward to the suspension upgrade myself.

On a separate note, since the booking is done online i hope the process is smooth. I had booked my Xpulse on Hero E-shop in consultation with my local Hero Dealership, and my online order is still under processing after almost two months. No complaints though as I had a seamless delivery experience within a day of online booking since I was already in touch with the dealer. So just my two cents, be in touch with your selected dealer.:thumbs up

Booked one yesterday night. I also don't plan to do any hardcore offroading. Roads in kerala is anyway offering mild offroading. On a side note I always wanted to buy an Interceptor but I kept pushing away every time and ended up buying my first car. So this Xpulse will be going to be a keeper for me to grace my two-bike garage to perfectly compliment my future interceptor.(wishful thinking) :D
