water sucked in the bike

yesterday there was heavy rainfall in mumbai and waterlogging was everywhere. as i was returning from my office i was trying ride my bike (pulsar 150 dtsi ug3) through 2 feet deep water. suddenly my silencer was submerged and a lot of water was sucked inside and the engine stopped running.
now what should i do? the bike is not starting even after 24 hrs.
do i have to wait till the water dries? guys please help!

If the water got into the engine atleast the cylinder head has to be opened :( If the engine died before water got into the cylinder you might be lucky.

what were you doing?? u never should have tried to start your bike bro !
take it to a mechanic. he would do the required thing.
Also remember that when you are driving in a flooded area never let go of the trottle !

thats right...toe it to the dealer's service station ASAP...
cuz pistons dont take too well to water.

1) most critical. DO NOT START YOUR BIKE.
2) Get your engine oil changed.
3) get it changed with the person who knows how to do it. (i did it with the wrong person and my oil got spoilt. that dumb person put new oil when there was water still in the engine compartment).

thanks all for you'r kind suggesions. yeah maybe my engine oil is contaiminated. when i checked the engine oil level through the oil level window i saw the window filled with froth (foam).
but how to change the oil?the engine has to be warm while changing oil.
