2023 Honda SP125 launched at Rs 85,131

Honda has announced the launch of the SP125 commuter bike for the 2023 model year. It is priced at Rs 85,131 (ex-showroom).

Honda has updated the SP125 to comply with the latest emission regulations. It comes with an onboard diagnostics system (OBD2) that monitors emissions in real-time. That being said, it carries forward the same 124cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 10.72 BHP and 10.9 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The 2023 Honda SP125 comes with an LED headlamp and a digital instrument console that displays real-time fuel economy, average fuel economy and distance-to-empty, among other information. The bike also gets an engine start/stop switch.

The SP125 features telescopic fork suspension at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The brake setup consists of a front-mounted disc with a drum brake at the rear. The bike rides on alloy wheels.

Probably they are going to kill all the 100 cc models as they are not doing good in market. Thats the reason they launched the 100 cc Shine to take on the Splendour.

Both CD110 and Livo are 110 cc, the former with 4-speed transmission and dual drum breaks bring back nostalgic memories of 80s when Indo-Jap commuter bikes were introduced.
