Ultraviolette opens its first showroom in Bangalore

Ultraviolette has opened its first experience centre, The Ultraviolette Hangar, in Bangalore. It also serves as its R&D facility.

The new showroom is spread over 10,000 sq. ft. Apart from display vehicles, the facility houses a lounge, a flight simulator and an official accessories department. The company plans to set up similar experience centres at 15 locations across India.

The Bangalore-based EV start-up has also announced the commencement of deliveries of the F77 limited edition electric bike. The company is building only 77 units, each priced at Rs 5.5 lakh.

The Ultraviolette F77 range includes two regular variants: Std and Recon, priced at Rs 3.8 lakh and Rs 4.55 lakh, respectively.

The F77 Recon uses an electric motor that develops 39 BHP and 95 Nm. It is powered by a 10.3 kWh battery pack, offering an IDC range of 307 km. The base F77 packs 36 BHP and 85 Nm. It comes with a 7.1 kWh battery offering a range of 206 km on a single charge. The bike has three riding modes: Glide, Combat and Ballistic.

DQ has investments in the company I believe, so 'bought' definitely wouldn't be the right term for this.
