The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is now available for Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Bangalore). Customers can avail of the "festive price" for a limited period.

The Bajaj Chetak uses a 3 kWh battery pack that powers a 3.8 kW electric motor. The e-scooter has a top speed of 60 km/h and can cover 108 km on a single charge. The battery can be recharged using a conventional charger in 4 hours.

The 2023 edition of the Chetak e-scooter gets a colour LCD instrument console on the 'Premium' variant. It has a two-tone seat, body-coloured mirrors, a satin black grab rail and a matching pillion footrest.

Ola Electric recently launched the S1X - a sub-Rs 1 lakh e-scooter in the Indian market. Bajaj is yet to launch a low-cost variant of the Chetak.

Re: Bajaj Chetak Electric now at a festive price of Rs 1.30 lakh

I believe Bajaj will not be able to sell more than 100 units. Ola and TVS have changed the EV two-wheelers sectors. Chetak seems to be an outdated product in 2023 and it is yet to enter 2-tier cities. I am yet to see this scooter on the road while Ola and TVS are plenty in numbers.
