Also tell the dealer to give up a break up of this "faciliatation charges" and tell them you won't be requiring that also.

I also suggest to inform in writing to RTO for the road tax mishap.

NOPE!
Road Tax is never on the invoice value!

Argument is that why should the state RTO bear loss of tax if you're getting a discount.
Hence when you see the Invoice, in almost all states the actual present and latest Ex-Showroom Value is mentioned separately at the bottom.

This has been argued many times and even in court. So now this is the LAW!

Please write to the RTO also. They'll say the same thing.

I have confirmed this with the dealer itself. Roadtax is based on whatever the ex showroom price is on the invoice.
Recent deliveries were billed in this way itself, on the introductory pricing.

Great. Let's just say that it might be an overlook from the RTO. One single letter signifying the loss to the exchequer and this will be backward implemented and the dealers will be fined as well.
Hehe. Take advantage while you can. This has happened and a number of dealers have suffered. Hence I know.

All the best with your bike. Have fun.

Lol sure. Even if roadtax was on new price, it would only have a negligible impact on total price.

Lol. Perspective is what we need here. Negligible multiplied by number of vehicles sold annually in such manner.
Not so negligible multiplied by number of dealers in the state doing this annually.

Not so negligible anymore.

You were right. My roadtax was calculated based on current pricing itself
