Re: Ultraviolette F77 electric bike to be showcased at EICMA 2023

It's interesting to understand why they are targeting European market now, at least I haven't seen a single bike in Bangalore running, I am wondering what's their sales figure till now in India. All I see OLA, Aether, TVS E-scooters predominantly in Bangalore. How is Ultraviolet able to make money here? Can some experts through some light on this?

Could be for the same reason

The spending capacity and market for EV products are much better in Europe than India.

Not to forget, a better charging infrastructure.

One of the primary reasons for EV scooters being accepted and bought here in India is the lowered operating cost that most owners would translate to savings especially when they’ve overcome the cost difference between EV & ICE. Another reason is the convenience of a scooter: the storage space, the flat footboard, and its relative spirited power delivery allowing for zipping through traffic.

For the f77 or any other electric motorcycle to do well in India, a combination of standout features, and performance is a must.

Here is a short but very useful walk around video of the Ultraviolette stall by the Peak Motorcycles channel. Thus far I have seen just one of their motorcycles in Bangalore but kudos to the company for participating at EICMA and hopefully, expanding their operations to global markets.
