Additional new charges for Motorcycle Registration in Bangalore

Spotted these new charges (infra cess, road safety tax) while browsing through Bikewale

. Usually price for base model Inty was 3.79L in Bangalore. Anyone has any insights into these charges?

Someone has to pay for the freebies!!

And that is a very high road tax as well. What is the percentage which they charge in Bangalore?

It has been 20% for some time. The other ones seem laughable! Infra - what infra? The same Govt. before coming to power was complaining about Bangalore-Mysore expressway toll of INR 165. Nice road end-to-end toll is INR 210 for 40kms (both for 4 wheelers).

What road safety? - Check all the 2 wheeler accidents that happen due to poor/non-existent roads.

The road safety tax is also applicable for RC renewals. Very recently did the renewal for my KB100, and had to pay 1000 as Road Safety Tax.
