I don't know how, but I randomly checked, or may be read it here! I did not miss the sale at 18k.
I wish I knew they were shipping immediately, I'd have shipped to Goa and rode back using it to karjat.
Amazing unit, though after using it on day one I forgot to switch it off, was dead and charging wasn't lighting up anything, support got back to me with the reset trick. Phew, thought I got a dud.
Right on about the sound quality, it's fantastic, I didn't need to use the spacers on my LS2 helmet, it was just right, these are really audiophile quality speakers/DAC/Amp. They can seriously give audiophile gear a run for the money, especially when I tested them outside the helmet. Harmon tuning on the balanced setting! This alone to me is the price of admission.
I haven't tested it on a group ride yet. Will this connect to all other intercom systems? I'm a noob with bike intercom systems.
The form factor, packaging, modular approach is really well done!
If I had to nitpick for cons, I'm really reaching here though:
1. I actually like the rubbery finish, but it may not age well.
2. the T - Stick mount, I think it was a bit of an afterthought, but nothing a few zip-ties will not fix.
My initial impressions are fantastic, worth a lot more than I paid for considering the competition!
edit: about the T Stick mount, I just saw a vid with somebody mouting it directly over the left handlebar grip, problem solved.

Reason: add note about the t stick mount
