As per Chinese news sources, Honda has announced a new inline-4 mid segment sports motorcycle at the Chongqing Motorcycle Show - which is believed to the all-new 'Honda CBR 400R Four' - a brandname trademarked in the Japanese market recently and is likely to be unveiled for 2025.

As the 'Four' clearly denotes - the machine is likely to be powered by a new 400cc, inline4 engine - marking direct competition to the Kawasaki ZX4RR.

This mid-capacity inline4 market has exploded recently in the Chinese market, with the entry of local players like the CF Moto 500SR VOOM, QJ Motor SRK 400RR and Kove 450RR - which could be the reason why the brand has decided to respond with the China-first strategy.

There has been no indication of an Indian launch so far!

I went to Honda Big Wing Saidapet (Chennai) today to test ride CBR300R this morning. The sales person told CBR300R test ride and booking has been stopped since its going to be updated soon. May be they are onto something.

The CBR300R is not available in India, are you refering to the CB300R?
