Honda Unicorn | Part number list of carburetors for all models from 2004 to 2019

The inner part of Unicorn's carburetor where the vacuum piston moves up and down wears off over time and sometimes prematurely wears off due to not changing air filter on time and using clogged dusty one.

I believe a separate thread is not required just to share some parts numbers. It would be better to share anything related to this particular model or the evolution of Honda Unicorn from the beginning to the latest model.

  • I opted for a new thread because i couldn't find any proper user review thread here. The post can be moved to relevant thread if needed.
  • For the latest news about unicorn, you could read my user review of 2023-2024 BS6 OBD2 model.
  • Will keep your suggestion in mind for the next time.

I just went through the thread .BS6 variants are sluggish in general comapred to previous iterations and from my personal experience I would recommend to stay away from marikar trivandrum they are notorious to ruin up bikes.

Nope, BS6 2020-2022 models were good. No sluggishness like BS6 phase2 OBD2 model. I have proved this by comparing it with BS6 2021 model at Marikar Honda, TVM showroom. They didn't had any answer. Also, not escalating the issue from dealer side to the company. Usually i don't leave the bike at service center because i don't trust them. This one time i left it and they made scratches here and there, didn't put the original screws back and chain cover cap and set the clutch without any free-play

Better.. The body panels looks the same but they are different. The body dimension of BS6 2020-2022 models are different. Weight is almost the same. The suspension travel is increased both at the front and rear. Chain cover is made of plastic. Meter dial is now in black & grey which looks terrible. The initial pickup and throttle response is better. Oil grade changed to 5w30. The side stand is welded to the foot rest! Indo-Japaneese tech!

2023-2024 model is the worst of all!

Alright what I heard was compared to older versions BS6 was a let down not only to one single make or model but in general. I haven't ridden anyone of these BS6 vehicles!. I am more of a old school guy .

I am someone who has owned multiple generations of Unicorn since 2005. While nothing could ever touch the first gen, the BS 6 phase 1 bike is far better than BS4 Unicorn. BS4 Unicorn was heavy with 146kgs weight while BS6 Unicorn is really light at 140kgs, both in-terms of feel and weight. BS4 also felt choked at around 60kms, while no such issues for BS6 bike.

The BS6 bike thanks to its undersquare configuration is a far better cruiser than BS4 'Corn. The earlier Unicorns had a square engine, which made them much more racier.
