2024 KTM 250 Duke launched at Rs 2.41 lakh

KTM has launched the updated 250 Duke priced at Rs 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike now gets a new 5-inch TFT instrument console from the 390 Duke.

The 2024 250 Duke carries forward the same aggressive styling with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs similar to the 390 Duke. The bike also gets Bluetooth connectivity and new switchgear borrowed from the 390 Duke.

The KTM 250 Duke is based on a new trellis frame that was introduced on the 390 Duke. The bike is powered by a 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 29.5 BHP and 25 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quick-shifter.

The bike rides on an upside-down front fork and a mono-shock at the rear. It has disc brakes at both ends supported by switchable ABS.

That's a good upgrade for barely any difference in price. Makes the Duke 250 a whole lot more palatable now over something like the RTR310 or the Speed 400. However, existing owners will feel a bit shortchanged by this. Also now has fewer points of differentiation with bigger bro Duke 390- those that don't need all that power now have a sweeter offering for less money and more usable power.
