Bajaj Auto has shared a teaser on social media. The video titled “The sound is enough” doesn’t reveal much, except for the exhaust note.

Bajaj has also put out a few teaser images on its Instagram story, which hint at a new RS model. Could it be the new Pulsar RS400?
The Pulsar RS400 could share the engine and underpinnings of the NS400Z. The 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine produces 39.4 BHP @ 8,800 rpm and 35 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The Pulsar RS400 would essentially be a fully-faired version of the NS400Z. It is likely to have a sportier stance with a USD fork in the front and a mono-shock at the rear. It could get multiple riding modes, traction control, and dual-channel ABS.

Why don't they introduce a new improved Dominar?

My assumption would be to create a differentiation with its KTM counterparts to justify its higher price

Because it's a flop, and RS/NS badge does have a considerable fan following.

It's in the works. Attaching it's discussion thread below.

As for this, RS200/400. I wish it get's a cleaner bodywork than before. The current RS200 has very busy styling.
It's unique for sure, just not in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

And also the original RS tagline, something like - racing on the tracks is for amateurs. Seasoned riders race on the streets rl:

So USD forks like the NS200, LED lighting, and that beautiful (but old) analogue tacho replaced with that hideous all digital display.
This wish of mine still stands though

Old tacho for reference.
2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 spied for the first time
Bajaj recently released a few teasers of its upcoming RS model. The latest spy images suggest that it might be an updated Pulsar RS200.
The 2025 edition of the Pulsar RS200 is expected to carry forward the same design, although it is difficult to confirm from the heavily camouflaged test mule seen in these images.
That being said, the new Pulsar RS200 could get other updates like a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, a new taillight, a wider rear tyre, and a different number plate holder at the back.
The Pulsar RS200 is likely to be powered by the same 199cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 24 BHP and 19 Nm and will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike will be equipped with a USD front fork and a monoshock at the rear, while braking will be handled by disc brakes at both ends.

Bajaj posted this on their Instagram. Tail section has some changes.

YouTube recommended a video to me today, it said Bajaj could offer the RS as a 200 along with a 160cc engine option. Makes sense because the NS lineup has 125, 160 and 200.
Although the channel failed to show any conclusive evidence, just a speculative 5-6minute video with a clickbait title.
2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 leaked ahead of launch
Bajaj Auto is gearing up to launch the updated Pulsar RS200 in India. The bike was recently revealed to dealers and images from the event have now leaked online.
The 2025 Pulsar RS200 looks similar to the outgoing model. However, there are some notable changes, including a new taillamp, comprising of two boomerang-shaped lights placed on either side of the number plate holder.
The bike looks as aggressive as before, especially in this two-tone white and red colour scheme. It has dual projector headlamps with LED DRLs and a short windscreen. Another addition is the LCD instrument console, which replaces the old semi-digital unit. It is expected to get Bluetooth connectivity.

The RS200 had the weirdest tail lamps to begin with, and I see it hasn't changed even now. This is one of the most plain vanilla updates a decade-old model could get. Haven't heard of a single person on forums or chat groups even remotely excited about this.
Why is Bajaj holding back on its 400 platform? An RS400 with less polarizing styling would really have been something.
What's with the trend of using indicator lights as tail lights:Frustrati

Cheaper to make, Cheaper in assembly. All this while claiming it's cool.
Same thing happened with front lights of cars long back, rendering them mostly invisible with lights on :Frustrati

Most whacky and useless updated model of 2025. Nothing can go worse than this. For these updates Bajaj dropped so many teasers. Godbless Bajaj.
