Re: From riding a Hero Honda CD100 to representing India at the 2024 BMW GS Trophy in Namibia

Wow is an understatement, many thanks for sharing the wonderful journey with all of us.

It surely is an honor to hold the national flag at an international stage, and you surely did it with pride and purpose. Kudos to you and your team for reaching these heights.

It was nice to read about how you have kept your passion alive and made it the purpose of your life. It's not easy and many of us get sucked into the usual chores of life.

Hope to hear more from you, how this passion evolves over time. Till then, happy mile crunching.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Certainly inspirational, heart warming narration. I was thinking of taking a course on off-roading but have waited too long. Guess I was waiting for a post like this to give that push.

This is one of the best threads I have read on Tbhp and I have been around for quite some time.

Thank you so much for sharing this incredible journey with us and doing so in such a lucid and readable manner. I could feel the sand, dirt and slush alongside you.

Absolutely incredible and congratulations as well for representing the country in the global stage with grit and determination.

Re: From riding a Hero Honda CD100 to representing India at the 2024 BMW GS Trophy in Namibia

Thank you for sharing this with us. This write up is one of the best i've seen in the forum.
I have interacted with Dev at tribal cafe. Cool guy he was. Hope he spoke about his "Dosas" (His way of referring to big abrasion wounds)

For those are wondering about the skills of these guys, I can confidently say that it is well beyond our reach for almost all of us. I vividly remember how Dev was wheeling all around and jumping over places in the off road track

What a ride it was ! From CD100 to having your name next to our flag on your dream bike. I wish to thank you firstly for pursuing your passion and representing the nation at this level. I am sure it would not have been an easy path. But big kudos to your family for standing by your side and helping you achieve your dream. Cheers.

What a write-up and whatta journey!

This is what passionate seekers are made off. Loved reading the journey from Pulsar to GS. And the GS Trophy participation was just the start. Wishing you many many more accolades.

P.S: I had seen your GS 1200 on OChacko's insta page and wondered "what a pristine condition" GS 1200. You sure have been lucky to land up a bike like that. Cherish it!

Thank you. Oh yes, that was my bike, as much as riding I really enjoy washing and keeping it clean like new , so that someday when I sell the bike I can tell " always babied and never ridden off road !"
