Keep it as it is the original look is far more better modifying it ( Body wise )
would only make it look bad just a view

restore it back to it orgiginal condition rather than to modify it
modifying such an old bike will look cheap

would at the max suggest just a disc brake after you restore it completly

who is paying the money?

and what is the update to the courtcase? any chances of yezdi starting production again for newer bikes?

please dont change the looks of a classic it will just look plain ugly, no one modifies a vintage, but as aadix mentioned u can fit discks maybe after the restoration.

Only suggestion is that you take it more retro and turn it into a Jawa original. Its quite simple and cheap and will look authentic with an all-black paintjob and gold Jawa decals.

Just in case anyone is into vintage bikes, noticed an ad on craigslist for a 1947 Matchless.

dead right. it is a terrific idea & will not require anything more than 5 k. do it man and send me a snap of it. i too have an old yezdi, which i worshipped not too long ago. just that, with the wife, kids et al,it has become a lot more difficult to ride now. so i changed to a car. i would love to give it to any willing caretaker for adoption.

cheers

Sorry, I have already donated it to an Yezdi fan club a year ago. My bike was in perfect condition, only that the bike had a Rajasthan Registration. Am getting another CL-II shortly though.
