No way!Expecting TVS to put that bike/mock-up into production is being way too optimistic. If at all TVS was even TRYING to clinic this bike, would'nt we have seee more of it,after the motor show?It seems like an all show and no go to me.As has been mentioned before, the Shogun was a damn good bike.Period.How much of it could be credited to TVS is unknown.TVS has good motorcross/racing credibility, but is yet to show this trend on their road bikes.Only time will tell.

An absolute devil of a bike man...styling seems to have taken a cue from the Benelli Tornado...what's most impressive is the dual discs up-front, the huge radiator with the underseat exhausts. Let's hope TVS prove critics wrong and this hits the road.

TVS made the Shogun

Hi Folks,

Was speaking to a TVS sales guy the other day <discretion discretion> and TVS is to bring out a 180 cc bike for about 80 k and the 250 cc bike for about 1.3 K. Now the 1.3 is made specially for exports to APac countries, but let's see.

And TVS- Suzuki got the AX 100 from Suzuki (Btw it's still sold in Saudi Arabia in the same 1980s avatar - Check Suzuki's site for SA)

and all modifications including the Supra, Shogun, Samurai, Shaolin have been carried out in India using the specs of the AX 100.
That's why you don't find the other bikes elsewhere in the world.

I used to own a Supra <a hand me down> which is pretty pleasing to ride. No maintenance problems and pretty nippy. Wished it had better brakes though> but I can't wait for the 180cc/ 250 cc bike to come out!

Ravi

sorry to dig up this old thread, but hasnt the future come? 3 years ago we were discussing about when we will have 250cc bikes and even today nothing has changed.

So what happened to the F3 ? died on its way to the factory ?

Gregory, you gave me a heart-attack by digging up this thread - I just got myself an R15 - I am glad this bike is not getting launched anytime soon...
