Hi Akki,

Firstly what kind of riding do you do more? Highway or city?

Also even at second hand these bikes will cost more than their lower siblings e.g a P220 will cost in the range of 80k which is approx 7-10k more than P200 & 2nd hand TB should also be more expensive than a Std & Electra.

So let us know what exactly do you want & what is your budget.

Second hand mein please wonlee buy ZMA >P200 >TB. If lifestyle choice, then TB is the way to go. Not p220 bhai.

dont buy the 220 secondhand, warranty doesnt get transfered and you are then stuck with what might be a lemon.

A motorbike reflects the person how rides it and vice versa.
Don't buy it second hand.

the only exception being when you are unable to source the same first hand as in the case of a now vintage or out of production bike.

Buy whatever you are able to afford now and trust me if you love her, she will never let you down.

ZMA is best bet at that rate. You'd want peace of mind, right? P220 new comes for 91k so 60k will not happen for a bike that's barely an year old

Hi,

First and formost... get to being 18 and legal and then ride in India. It's a few months, not worth the trouble if you get caught.

Secondly, once your in India, think about what you want to do with your bike, ride a few around to decide if that is what you want.

By the way, pic up some good gear on your way back, save your noggin and skin in case.

Cheers & Happy Riding

I think its pretty clear.

He has asked the original poster to first get to the age limit of 18, after which he can get a Motorcycle with gear license.

Then since there is some time for that to happen, to use it in the meantime and check out all the bikes.

Of course you get very good biking gear in the US of A. Stuff that protects you if you fall.

I am feel so young and hip. I actually understood what was written.

I agree with speed, first reach the legal age, and then get a bike. but out of the listed two, i would recommend neither. If i were in your place, i'd get the 200. The 220 is just too risky getting secondhand, and the enfield may be a bit high on maintenence too.

The thread started has not mentioned his age anywhere in the thread, so I was confused!!

EDIT: akkii's profile states his age as 38.

^^ Guess I missed that.

Buy a decent 150cc bike, ride it for a few years and then move onto bigger bikes. Trust me, you will learn a lot in these few years. You will become a more matured rider.
