Posted on behalf of V12 :

Time for some more updates : Here's a pic of the bike after a much needed wash. Still looks the same as before lol:....dirty... Just thought of posting a final pic of the stock bike. Its almost dismatled now. The seat, tank, handlebar etc have been removed now and its lying in the garage.

Watch this space for more updates.

Shakensoul : Are these original RD meters or local ones and any idea if the same is available in Mumbai?

Desideep : Are you saying the total cost of both the tyres would be max 1220? Or is it each?

All : What's the cost of the below :
Original RX100 silencer.
Original RXZ 4-Speed silencer (the chrome up-swept one)
RX135 5-sp or RX-Z 5-sp silencer (the matt black one)

The RD meters were in a simple packing, not in any blister pack or yamaha packing, not too sure if they are original and no idea about the availability in mumbai.

Cost of tyres would be 1000-1200 each depending on tyre size and brand.

I got this original RX silencer for 950

Not sure if the other variants would be available.

If possible, could you please get a pic of it?! I can try searching it here. If I don't find it, I could get them from you.

I'll try checking for the Endurance Products too. They got some nice stuff.

I'll try to get a picture of the RD meters next time I visit the shop.

BTW, how much the thunderbird headlamp cost and is the brand minda ?

RD Meters are available at Suraj Auto Parts Mumbai Central or Grant Road forgot the exact area but its somehow close to Premji's shop, Yenkay make for around 1K.
Get the lifted up at the rear by small angle, pipes of old RXZ or stick to stock ones avoid the black powder coated ones as they are with CAT convertor and very restrictive.
Use RD indicators good for cafe racer looks.

Ok let me give you the real picture for the RD meters. they are actually fakes with some real shista inner machine and stuff. i would sugest you to keep it simple by using a shogon meter or a umm. not sure what else could be used... but dont go for the RD meters they look real takkie. i am sure that they dont meet the kind of quality that you give to your bikes.

about the tyres thats for one. the total cost would not go any thing above 2200. that means some good tyres but are you going for spokes or alloys? if alloys then a set of duro tubless would do the duty very nicely.

UPDATE:

Tyres:

Somehow I don't like the patterns in MRF. So checked for Dunlop.

2.75 inches = 70mm (Dunlop - Rs 750)
3.00 inches = 76mm (??)
3.54 inches = 90mm (Not available in Dunlop
3.93 inches = 100mm (Dunlop - Rs 1100)

I'm planning for a 100mm at the back and a 3.00 inches at the front. The front tyre will be accompanied by a fibre mudguard. Any idea if there is a 3.00 x 18 from Dunlop?! I forgot to ask about it.

We're keeping the spoke wheels as of now. Alloys will overshoot the budget. Just ordered for the Dunlop 2.75 and 100/90 which will be arriving next week.

Checked out a fibre seat pan today but will be difficult to work upon compared to a metal pan. Will have to wait for a day or 2 more for my welder to come.

I'm still looking out for RXZ silencers (chrome upswept one) but am not able to find one. Does anyone know where it is available and for how much.

Rear-sets have been finalised, but the brake pedal is a issue now. Will have to sort that one out.

v12...I enquired about the RD meters again, they are local :(

Thanks SS. I think i'll stick to the original RX100 meters then. Just had a ride on the bike and its very uncomfortable. The seating position is as uncomfortable as a drag-bike.

Am currently using the rear footrest and changing gears using my toe and the heel-shift. So right now the shift pattern is a 1-up 3-down till I actually install a proper rear-sets.

The tyres have arrived. Will post pics soon.

Front : Dunlop Zebra - Y Plus 2.75 x 18 (Rs 850)
Rear : Dunlop Challenger 202 3.00 x 18 (Rs 975)

Decided on 3.00-18 at the rear, since it wouldn't hamper the ride, performance and mileage. Almost picked the 100/90-18, but decided against it.

This is my Rx 100. Its a 91 make. Except for the Petrol tank, Shock Absorbers, Speedometer and the Engine Bore, everything else is new.

There is absolutely no modifications done. Apart from the Yezdi wheel, its a complete Stock Rx 100.

Hope the bike is in good taste to the viewers.

Looking forward to everyones' comments.

Hey Revolution, thats a nice bike you have. I remember seeing pics of your bike soemwhere, but cant recollect where... maybe xbhp.

Anyways some more updates :
Since both the seats will be having different brake-light setups, they will be mounted on the seat itself. The BSA lamp setup is for the double seat whereas a round brake-light setup would be used for the cafe-seat.
The bike would be given for a complete service this week to the authorised Yamaha service center.
