Dont think things would be this easy dude.
I know a whole lot of guys who work on 350's too but that doesnt mean that they are any good at it.
I know of mango washers being sold for 500rupees odd so spares dont come easy and cheap.

And since hes insisting its stock bore-I would suggest open up and confirm.
Most RD's run for about 5k kms after a good rebuild and this guy is running original pistons on stock bore since 85?

Hi,
I have a RD350... Before you a buy RD350, please look for some of these details
1. Is the engine stock.
2. Is there a correct alternate ouff from the silencer.. If not then tell the mechanic to set the tuning.
3. What is the needle setting at which you are test-driving.
4. Does it have a CDI Kit?
5. PLEASE CHECK IF IT IS AN ACCIDENT VEHICLES.. As many of RD's on sale are accident bikes...
6. please check the RC book. A '5 pass vehicle used to have 2 RC books (If I am not mistaken).. So you will have to convert it one. and is the vehicle been re-passed....
The most IMP. of alll.... PLEASE TAKE A PERSON WHO OWNS A RD WITH YOU. Otherwise it really dificult to judge.

If you can let me know the above details I will be able to help you with a precise quote.
