Try inquiring your local paint store or bigger auto-shops that sell polishing accessories you will surely get alternative products. Do mention 'Buffing paste' or 'chrome paste'.

If there is someone in US from your family then you can get many alternatives from amazon.com. 150ml paste will be good for 1-2 years of buffing.

The lesser alternative is nickel powder which you can acquire from most bullet mechanical shops. But you will need lot more rubbing with it. It can also remove stains with effort but its a bit messy.
