Bangalore: Any good Activa service center near Kundalahalli?

I usually give my Activa for service in DRDO complex when I use to stay near there. Since I recently moved to Brookfield, I would like to know some good service centers for my Activa. Probably around Cosmos mall or Kundalahalli.
Any leads? Thanks.

There is no such good authorised service center in and around that area ! you have only one option haiku honda on airport road.

If you you wanna come somewhere near cox town then tara motors, this chap only accepts activa's for service, he is a specialist in activa.

Oh I forgot to mention. I don't give it or service in authorized dealers

So, any normal service station (May be Bike zone?) around here will be fine. I am looking to see if I can get some good feedback before giving my machine. Or else, I just need to give and get the feedback myself

Ok. I did find a mech near the Kundanahalli gate. Got it serviced.

Rs.250 for the service
Rs.350 for the clutch shoes

Did a decent job, but did not attend to the issues I mentioned him. So I was not satisfied.

It still struggled to reach even 40kmph. Sometimes it was like someone is holding the vehicle and not allowing it to move

So, took the vehicle to the same guy in DRDO and got it serviced.

Again 450rs. Said there was some issue with the valve head and it was corrected. Now I can feel the difference in the engine beat too.

Now happy.

Btw. I have one more question. I would like to change the headlamp for this. The current stock one is very dull and very difficult to drive in nights.

Any suggestions, without changing any circuits or adding any relays?

Try sourcing a halonix 35/35w h4, since activa has the round bulb, you have to change the holder to the h4 type.

@mjothi: Where exactly in DRDO did you give your Activa?

I stay near Bagmane tech park and have given my Activa only to the authorised service centre in Ulsoor(now in Old Madras Road). I am not satisfied with the job done by the service centre. I have been looking around for private service centres. I am also facing some strange sound near the exhaust and from the exhaust as well(its too loud when accelerated). It would be great if you could help me.

P.S:How is your Aveo doing? Read your ownership report. Very nice indeed.

Sorry, just noticed this.

Its inside the DRDO complex. When you enter the complex where you park 2 wheelers, see to your right. You will see a board of Srichakra tyres. Its just next to that.

Not sure if I posted in right time Hope it helps next time atleast..

Ya. Aveo is doing well. Done 14.5K and its pending for the next service. Upgraded the Head lamp bulbs and feeling happy. Very comfortable to drive in nights.

Hey there is a honda showroom which opened recently. The showroom is in Ramgondahalli ( im not sure of the spelling ) Its near palm medows, there also a bajaj service center there as well.
If your going to Whitefield from Marathalli and keep going straight after the bridge and after the signal after spice gardens, about 4 km from there u should pass a shell petrol bunk on your left, keep going straight. Another km and there will be a honda showroom on your right. The service bikes over there as well as sell honda bikes.
I hope this information helps.

Could you help by letting know if this is in DRDO phase 1 or phase 2 complex?

I went searching for this today, couldn't locate the board for Srichakra tyre in either of the complexes.

Re: Bangalore: Any good Activa service center near Kundalahalli?

Bump. My Tvs wego fell into a drainage hole inside my community area (wify started her standing on road and rolled the accelerator forcefully, my beloved wego went on its own and fell into the hole ;-( ) and seriously damaged its front grill. Looking for private experts (not dealers) around marathahalli and KR puram. Any help?

Serviced our Honda Activa at Tansi opposite Laughing waters. Very competent guys here, with the SA Raghavenda being very entusiastic and attending to every issue. Special mention of mechanic Raja, he is really good.
