@jeepster: Where did you get the 60's looking decal for the motif? It's well done from the pics, and of the quality that usually comes out of the factory. The pics look lovely, but won't that silencer be really loud, like in attracting the attention of cops?

thanks for the complement.
the decals were made locally (first set got cracked & second is on the tank)
they costed me about 250/-.

the silencer end pipe fell off when bike went trough a pothole .
so i am on hunt for a silencer dom with quality sound output.

about the cops they never stop a bulletier .
i also have old type no. plate with black plate & white numbers still they have not stopped me yet .
(my enfield belonged to a police officer before me.)

Thanked: Once

Prices of all Bullet models have increased by around 8 K.
Std is now costing 90K on road and Electra 5S is costing 1.07 lac on road.

Also Std is called Std 350 S Class.

Even the website of RE has changed. Now I can see a tab saying Retired Models. It is not opening now. Guess they are working on the same.

Will RE increase the price of CL 350 also? Present pricetag of 1.08 on road itself is too much for me.

@jkdas: Thank you. Details given below:

Front Tyre: Pirelli MT60 19/110 (2,400 INR)
Back Tyre: Pirelli 15/130 (2,800 INR)
Horn: Roots (500 INR)
Alloys: 3,500 INR
Side Bags: 3,500 INR
Back Disk & Assembly: 6,500 INR
Security System: 1,200 INR
Labor & Misc: 2,000 INR
Hi , lovely mods and the bull looks good. Where did you get the mods done?
what did you have to take care for fitting the alloys and the back disk?

Are the front and rear Pirelli's tubed or tubeless?

Do you see any pros and cons after the back disk fitment?

Thanks in advance,
Raghu

The RE silencer thread

Friends,

Is there an exclusive thread for the silencers of RF bikes, I want to learn more about them, models, fixing, choosing the right one etc.

If there is no thread exists, why not someone who is knowledgeable start one?

Thank you.

OK first post, I hope I don't make a mess of it!

1). Here are some photos of my purported '72 Army Bullet before I took it all appart.
2). Any suggestions of a thread where I could post my frame number for an accurate build date?

Best Regards, Peter.

Hi All,
Here are the pictures of my 1998 model Enfield Machismo with the cast iron engine. I used to ride between Bangalore and Mangalore regularly until I shifted to Mangalore in 2004. He (my bike) has been an extremely good companion all these years and still going strong. Got the engine ouerhauled last year at 74k on the odo. The fuel consumption has been extra ordinary with 40kmpl in the city and 46kmpl on Highways!
