Petrol Tank Modification ( Petrol Leak )

Hi guys ,

Facing a problem with the fuel leak ,

When i got it checked with the local service guy , he told me that there would be a ring inside the fuel tank , it ensure that petrol wont leak out if your fill for 500 Rs ...

He told me that for my bike , that ring should have fallen off inside the tank , and he suggest me to get the fuel tank cut and get it wielded ,

another person suggest to get a extension wielding done to the fuel tank ,

any suggestion on this guys ..

From which side of your tank is the petrol leaking ?

If it's from the bottom portion where the tank is connected to the carb, then there is a rubber washer underneath the tank.

Post more details.
