" "The decision to discontinue production of Enticer was based on a market survey which showed that India is not mature enough for such cruiser bikes," says Yamaha India's senior V-P Takahiro Maeda. "

wasn't he wrong; ask bajaj.

Is n't Enticer a moderate success in India? I see good number of them in Hyderabad.

hafta agree.

also, selling a "cruiser" with a piddly 125cc engine is an outright crime. never thought i'd see the day when yamaha would do such stuff.

First they should make a real cruiser before saying we're not mature enough for one. Enticer is a child's toy.

Busa: think before you write and gather proper information please.

yamaha certainly should have given us a 250cc cruiser in the first place. dare them call us not ready for cruisers. They are paying for their own mistakes right now.

Yamaha sure has some nerve to call the Indian market immature for cruisers.

Actually its their marketing dept. who is immature, considering the fact that they asked their NPD to build a half-ass cruiser-moped....Its really a shame, their parent companies build some of the best bikes in the world but their marketing doesnt have enough insight into what the market needs....And anyway, cruisers are not mass-market high-volume products.
