Hey guys, I have a 2004 Nov RE Thunderbird (Blue Colour). Currently i am in Vadodara, i am planning the following changes in my ride :

1. Engine Chrome Plating
2. Silencer Change (Currently Rocket is installed)
3. Headlight bulb/tube (Current Stock bulb)
4. Tail light change to HD

help me with the cost involved? Any recommendations are welcome.

I'm no RE expert, but anyway my 2 CC's.

Prices are near to those in Bangalore. They might be a bit less in Vadodara.

1.AFAIK, Thunderbird has an aluminium casing and Chrome plating might not last on it. Better get it buffed and polished to get a good shine.

2.You could go in for a goldstar Silencer (around 1200).

3.A Halogen bulb of reputed make (175-225 depending on brand).

4.Pardon me, what's a HD tail light?

HD = Harley Davidson; with the 3 dealership opened across the country, hopefully they'll be able to source out one tail lamp. But I doubt that if, the Indian dealership will be of any help for a non HD owner. You may have to shell out few thousands for a genuine one through online or get climatised to HD looking ones.

Instead try sourcing few parts from one of these guys

Even the new RE Classic has chrome plating on the engine and that is also an aluminium casing, it looks fantastic.

Can you tell me the brands and power of the halogen bulb?

I don't want the original, I want the HD looking ones. Can you tell me its price?
