Hey Gautam, sorry, I saw your post a bit late. Attached is the map of how you get there.

I just had my 2005 Pulsar 150 serviced there, and his rates are reasonable. Rs.200 for servicing, Rs.250 for oil change, and Rs.60 for brake pad overhaul. Another Rs.40 for charging my batteries.
In Rs.550, my bike feels quite new, but to be honest, it didnt feel that bad earlier on too. However, a short 10km ride today dispelled any notions of "bike's-getting-old-needs-replacement" from my mind now.

They are open on both Saturdays and Sundays. Can be contacted on 9325132236.

Re: Excellent mechanic in pune for avenger 200cc

I will second to this.
His work is excellent and the most important point is, he will just not go for the replacement of a part, unless it is that much required.

A few months back I did the servicing for my 2004 year Pulsar 150 Dtsi, and the workmanship was great. (I know I should have updated my comments long back, but in the mean time I got my Amun-Ra as well)

The only problem is that his workshop is located at the opposite end from where I stay. My advise to all will be :-

> Go at the early hours. Preferable if you can reach his workshop by 7 AM as he starts approximately at that time.

> If posssible, take a prior appointment so that he is expecting you.

> Also jot down all the problems that you are facing, so that he can start the work asap.

And yes, be ready to wait and watch till your bike is handed over. Eateries are available across the road, in case one needs to take care of his tummy (like me)

Reviving an old thread. Do you know good mechanics or service center for 2 wheelers in Baner / Balewadi area ? Got 2 TVS scooty to service at regular intervals. Not too happy with the service given at The TVS showroom on Baner road.

Re: Excellent mechanic in pune for avenger 200cc

Hey guys, sorry for bumping up this old thread.

I am new in Pune and have been looking for a mechanic who knows what he is doing. My bike is a 07 Pulsar 180 and being almost 8 years old there are a huge amount of niggles that have cropped up. The bike was stationary since the last 2 years or so.

So can anyone suggest a good mechanic in Hadapsar/ magarpatta or around ?

I have never trusted any Bajaj Service centers and have had bad experiences with them in the past.
