Indian copy of Honda engine

Hi All,

A while ago i found a website (Indian) with a list of all these small manufacturers that I'd never heard off with pictures and specs of the bikes they were building.

I noticed a few of the bikes we're using horizontally mounted 100-150cc (can't remember exactly) engines that looked like copies of old Honda designs. Now I want more information on these engines but i can not find the website or mention of the manufacturers online.

Could anyone who knows, kindly point me in the direction of any motorcycle brand that still use the horizontally mounted engine?

Thanks so much
Paul

Re: Indian copy of Honda engine

Hero Honda still makes them. It is the largest selling motorcycle brand in India. Recently Hero and Honda decided to part ways!!!

Re: Indian copy of Honda engine

Both Kinetic and TVS had their version of the HOnda 100 cc sloper engine.

However both are dead now.

Mahindra seems to have revived it be details are still sketchy.
