Matte black paint

Hey guys i have a 2002 RE Thunderbird (Blue color). I am thinking of getting the bike repainted. I am thinking on the lines of HD Sportster Iron. Please tell me how much it will cost? What paint is to be used? Any specific quality paint to be used? Problems if any, because its an AVL engine?

Re: Matte black paint

Get Dupont Matt Black. If you have trouble finding it in the catalogue, it is in the Mahindra section for the Scorpio. Matt black is the easiest paint to spray, although, it looses its charm after a little bit.

Do you mean it is a DIY job? I don't want the nuts and bolts to be Matte Black. What do you mean by saying, it looses its charm after a bit? Can the engine be painted as it is? I thought there is a different heat resistant paint for the engine.
