Do you have a DIY on how its done?
Also note, now it works intermittently.
Yes. The Renault showroom on Mysore Road (Bangalore) is offering 80K cash discount for the RXL variant + 7000 corporate discount (for enrolled corporates) + 5000 worth accessories. BTW, I just booked a Duster RXL Petrol variant (104 PS).

Hmmm.. Interesting. My salesperson from Renault Mangalore said that only corporate discount of 10k + accessories of 5k are available on Adventure. Hence I too am thinking of RXZ AWD instead. Will have to recheck!

Hi, did you get any discounts? Am planning to book in a few days time. But on AWD Adventure, no offers here in Mangalore (except 5k accessories).
Can you put up the OTR price breakup?
Plus cost of above accessories?
Thank you
Hey guys,
Got delivery of my moonlight silver RXL.
I will be sharing a much more detailed overview in detail soon.
I'm very much happy with the purchase and so is the family with the ride quality and space.
The interiors actually turned out quite decent with those OEM seat covers. I will share the pics soon enough.

Let me be the first to congratulate you Vamsi. Do post your initial experience with the dealer handling as well as with the car. I know you have a long drive planned on Sunday so would be waiting for your initial impression after the drive. Do also posts some pics of your dusty. Wishing you many happy miles ahead bro. :)
Any feedback on Duster AMT? I searched for ownership reviews and feedback for Duster AMT version and could not find anything. Thanks
I am wary about the reliability of Duster after reading the issues here. Hope these are rare cases.

Hi,
I got my Duster AMT on 11th Oct this year and have clocked 1975 on the ODO. After a week of purchase I had posted initial ownership experience on the Duster AMT thread but got no reply. Below is the link to the post. Hope that helps. I will be posting a detailed version of my review once drive some more.

Over the last two months I have been using the car for city commute and faced no issues so far. I can say confidently now that there is a learning curve for the car (at least for somebody who is coming from petrol manual hatch) as the turbo lag,AMT gearbox, extra feedback from steering etc are new tricks to learn.
Thanks

Hello,
I am planning to upgrade the headlight of my 2016 model RXZ model duster. I felt the stock head lights in duster are not adequate for night driving and considering the long drive I've planned during year end, I am planning to upgrade the headlights this weekend.
Can anybody suggest what would be the good option for this ?

Hi,
I absolutely agree with you, stocks are not adequate at all.
I have two options for you, if you are in budget then go for Osaram night breakers or Philips xtreme vision130%, for both high and low beams. Its a plug n play set up no relays are required.
Another good option is HIDs, but those are recommended with projector setup, without projector it will scatter and will be a pain for incoming traffic.
Also keep in mind, which ever setup you choose color temperature should not exceed 4300 kelvins or else visibility will be poor in rains and fog.
I hope this helps. :)
I was having starting trouble with my 85PS Duster. It was a very strange issue.
Car always started on the second crank. So I suspected fuel pressure.
The odd thing was there was no starting problems if I drive the car for some time and then park for a short while.
If I park for a longer duration, the starting problem would come back. There were no errors on the console.
The first time around Renault service could not identify the root cause.
Luckily the second time around the service engineer removed the engine hood and checked. Turns out the the fuel leak off pipe was damaged leading to a "leak".

(got this image from ebay)
He said its due to rat bite. I am not so sure.
He taped up the tube so that I could user the car till the spare tube arrived. That helped. The starting problem disappeared.
After couple of weeks I went and got the tube replaced.
The tube cost Rs. 2372 :Shockked:
The labour was Rs. 690
