Their pricing is pretty damn steep but fit and finish would be top. I wish there were more mainstream brands making these at a cost effective price.

Woah if I read correctly. Their cheapest soft cover was 15k! Do you think these are really worth it? Or should I try picking one up abroad. I don't think it would be too big and can ask someone to carry it.

Also took this picture today before I left from work. I like how stark the difference. She was built in Munich and now resides in Delhi. (Cant upload picture via app, will edit this post later and add pic).

You would definitely get in the range of 10 km/l with a light foot even if its within city.

Likewise the same car will give you an easy 15+ km/l on highways :thumbs up

What is the tyre pressure to be maintained for those with 225/55R16 tyres? Dealer suggested to keep 30 front and 37 rear which i felt was too much, keeping 30 front and 32 rear, hope it is not too less to induce any damage to tyre.

30f and 32r gives a good supple ride, 37 is way too high i think.

Actually no, Indian roads are too horrid to run high pressures usually recommended by manufacturers. Always stay in the safe range and see how the car feels like to drive with own experience. I keep 30psi in mine as karan also recommended and quite happy with it.

Karan is running the Michelins tubeless. Run flats are different and as I said a 5 psi underinflation will lead to tyre overheating, bulges, higher wear, etc. In case of tubless or tubed tyres underinflation can lead to blowouts on highway runs. This is generally true IMO for all cars, not only BMW.

Runflats are generally HARD compound hence at those tyre pressures (recommended) they will be acting too BRITTLE for Indian road conditions i.e. When impacted with a sharp pothole/broken road, jumping a speed breaker or even approaching a flyover at high speed will result in either a side wall bulge or a side wall crack.
As soon as u reduce the tyre pressure it will soften up and the side wall flex will be much better during an impact.

What is the brake pad life for F30 320D's? I have a semi aggressive driving style which would soon turn into full aggressive once i complete 1500 kms and my car is used for 80% highways runs. What is the experience of other owners and what does your iDrive indicate? My car has just done 1400 kms and iDrive shows front pads have 47000 kms and rear pads have 46000 kms which looks a bit unrealistic lol:

Opting for the 3 year/40k bsi plus + 5 year extended warranty tomorrow.

Thanks, the total cost for this plan would be 2,11,242 whereas if you want a 5 year/60k bsi plus + 5 year warranty, the cost is 3,53,058. Any brake related job after the 40k kms period can be done outside too, car would definitely need a set of front+rear pads in 40,000 kms.

How many services has your car gone through? You are running 18-19k/year, would not BSI had been better in your case? Do purchase the extended warranty buddy, it is much needed with these german cars.

My car is shedding a lot of brake dust, the alloys turn black within 100-150 kms.
