85% of what you paid (on road price + accessories if any) would be fair value. Good deal for the buyer too. The price quoted by Indian Blue Book is quite low - I would not sell at those prices.

Sell to an individual buyer via online classifieds. But since you are short on time, outsource this task to relatives or close friends. Perhaps you could sign the RTO documents before leaving?

I feel True Value quotes competitively.
I sold my 2010 model, second owner, 1.06 L run SX4 for 2.7 lac to them. Maximum quote I got outside was 2.3 L. Recently I sold my 2003 Santro Xing AT ( Second owner, 68K run) to them at 1.18L. Again maximum quote I got outside was 90k.
I might have got good value because I exchanged abovementioned cars to Maruti cars. SX4 to Scross 1.6 and Santro to WagonR AMT.

Dealers value this at Rs. zero. All they care about is "June 2010 Maruti Ritz Vxi run for XXXXX kms". They do care about scratches, but only when they are BUYING (Sir, major scratch here and big dent there. We have to spend a lot of money) but not when selling (Sir, 6 year old car. Few minor scratches/ dents are expected).

But an individual buyer will be ready to pay a significant premium if he is getting something "free" or doesn't have to shell out extra money after buying from you. So sell directly if your -

- Car has the right accessories
- Car has been serviced regularly (and available with service history)
- Car has new battery/tyres.

But one has to be patient though.

Now there are some basic issues, like light steering, that you can't do much about, and you get habituated to it too I guess. But I haven't found any issue with suspension / bumpy rides, found it pretty smooth. When I was going for it in 2011, other options were Fiat Uno and VW Polo in this price range. Uno I didn't go for due to service network and the car was not selling much anyway, Polo - I didn't find it's ride smooth, perhaps due to 3 cylinder engine. i20 was the best value for money with cabin space, boot space and added features. Jazz was still ~2 lac expensive to i20 at that time.

My milometer is at 58000 kms, with many long drives (multiple 2000K trips to Rajasthan from Gurgaon), and a trip to Ooty recently since I have moved to Bangalore now. Car has done very well.

S-Cross is, of course, much better than i20 on parameters you have listed, but is a different segment altogether. I guess i20 still is quite competitive in its segment.

Today back from a 150 kms drive on NH1. Oh God what acceleration !! Car seems more and more eager at speeds where most of the cars in market would run out of steam. Even if you choose sedate driving style it still provides enough of driving pleasure.

I also remember when I test driven a Vento I felt cramped up vis-à-vis s-cross and prefered acceleration and high speed behaviour of s-cross.

None of them was interested in my service record, timely insurance renewal, almost brand new tyres and official HRS alloys. My car was seen by 4 prospective buyers within 10 days of posting the ad and all were pretty impressed with the service record, audio quality and the ride quality offered by the 195/60/R15 Michellin XM2+ rubbers. I am attaching a picture that I have handy. Would have kept the car if I hadn't fallen for S-Cross and had saved money buying a Jazz SVMT 😂

First and formost change that could enhance s-cross looks positively is the front grill. Thats why Sx4 s-cross, ciaz, creta looks better with different grill. Other things in present s-cross are to my liking:)

However, i for one, dont like the vertical grill in facelift version.
