Toyota doesn't advertise it, but Crysta's turbine is also high-tech rocket alloy Inconel and its water cooled too :D

As per my knowledge, and I believe its mentioned in the tbhp review, the Turbo is made inhouse by Toyota themselves?

Inconel turbine is not mentioned anywhere in tbhp. Turbo being made by Toyota was mentioned somewhere here.

Area around my music system makes some noise when I go through sharp roadhumps/potholes. Any ideas to rectify the same?
The grey portion above music system is flimsy and and makes noise on pressing.

1)Happy with ceramic coat, had top up after 6 months and car is like brand new.
2)Gears now are very smooth
3)See some mileage figures clap:

Wow! I am still unable to comprehend how you are achieving these high mileage numbers. Anyway, if it is what it is, good to know that the Innova Touring Sport can actually achieve such great mileage numbers.

What is ‘top up’ of ceramic coat mean? Was the cost included with initial payment or was it separate.

Quick help required folks:

I am trying to hardwire the dash cam. I need a fuse tap to do it right.

Can someone kindly let me know what kind of fuse the Innova Crysta 2016 uses? Thanks

Looks like a low profile mini fuse tap. Can some one confirm (or otherwise) the same?

Finally, where can I buy it in Bangalore? If online, any brand recommendations?

Thank you

This is the one I am using to power an aux lamp relay from headlight highbeam fuse inside engine bay fusebox.
https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B01AG932G8/

Amazon product description reads correctly as LP Mini fuse. Name is wrong.

For dashcam you will need in cabin fusetap connection, check if the incabin fuse is the same type as the headlight fuse i used.

If you will go to any car accessories shop, they will give you spare wire tap. Touch screen HUs come with handbrake wire taps, which no one gets installed and is lying uselessly there at those shops.
i also used that one when i installed DashCam in my Crysta. borrowed current from a wire behind the dashboard, even the company fitted ambient lightening borrows from that wire only (you can easily find it using a voltmeter or a 12v bulb grounded to the car body). I would suggest you do the same, been using it for 4 months and no issue yet.

I am pleased to announce my new possession of my Garnett Red GX 7 Seater Auto transmission Cryzta. I took delivery from NandiToyota, Kanakpura Road on the 17th and as always it was a very pleasant experience. I want to thank all who contributed in this thread.

I had to say good bye to my old 2015 model Innova by end May 2018. I got some obscene money when i sold that in exchange for the new Cryzta.

I have done about 190 KM since yesterday, and i am all smiles for now.

I will post the pictures and more details in my subsequent posts.

Meanwhile, i had a quick query - how do i change the units from xx L / 100 KM to our standard KM/Litre on the MID ?

28.4 kmpl was a nerve wreaking exercise for 60kms on ORR. With speeds over 100 on high way and city combined I could get max 18.7 kmpl(no effort) which I thought was a cool figure.

Top up means maintainance package for ceramic coat. It costs 1000 every 6 months.

By the way enjoy some pics clap:

Anyone here tried 225/60/R16 tires on Innova crysta. I remember seeing Nandi Toyota deliver one from showroom. However I don't know how it would perform. Would this cause any problem?

This is better than I expected and there is no glare. No one flashed me tonight with my low beams ON. This is the new type Philips LED totally different compared to their previous H11 model, maybe thats why this turned out to be better beam wise.

I will post a wall pic later on, I usually park with the nose out so did not get a wall pic today.

Next is fogs.

Now fogs too. Cutoff is almost perfect isn't it? Just like stock, better than stock i think because the beam appears to be wider.

Left stock H16 halogen and right H11 LED.

...and now it is time for another upgrade. Only highbeams were pending a conversion to LED and I am replacing HIR1 incandescent with Genuine Philips 25W HB3 LED. The low beams are already LED but I am upgrading those too with a Genuine Philips 22W H11 LED.

Going by the performance of 11W Philips in my headlamps these wouldn't disappoint. In the picture HB3 main and H11 inset.

Try prying off the cover and putting some foam padding behind it. Thin foam will work best since you don't want ungainly panel gaps. Felt lining should work. Just sandwich it between the plastic cover and the panel behind.

Driver side airbag removal of Innova Crysta. If anyone wants to remove it or the steering wheel for any reason!
