I’m getting Hexis PPF done after reading all the in-depth discussions here.
So, that is roughly 6L off the OTR of 68L. Not too bad, eh? Will TD myself this weekend and see how it goes.

Fast forward to September'21 and GLC200 is Rs.74 lacs on-road Bengaluru!!! Is the car really worth the money when compared to say Skoda Kodiaq? I can afford the GLC but I want to be really careful with the money (upfront cost & ongoing maintenance) and hence my question to the members.

Sorry but the GLC200 is not at all worth 74L especially if petrol.

Pls. look at the Volvo XC60 or the BMW X3. They are far far better than the GLC.

The GLC had nothing impressive. Being a 2WD petrol crossover, it literally has no ability as an SUV as well.

For 4L more you get the BMW M340i with 2 times the BHP (380).

Re: Driven: The 2020 Mercedes GLC Facelift

GLC200 petrol in 2020 had just one advantage over X3 and XC60, its listed prices was 8L less but now they have increased the price by a whopping 5.5L and given stingier discounts as compared to BMW, its not worth at all. In foreign markets, GLC300 is the one which gives a good fight to an X3 30i but that is not available in India.

MBRDI ? wow . few years back , I had an opportunity to manage MBRDI account from one of the largest the largest vendors of Daimler. MBRDI works on really cool and cutting edge stuff for Daimler. Really amazing lot of engineers out there. Half of the parking lots , initial 3 or 4 floors are reserved for company given Mercs.

Re: Driven: The 2020 Mercedes GLC Facelift

10 months with my GLC200 experience:
I really miss 4WD confidence I had with CRV previously. 12 years with CRV trained me to never care about steep driveways and odd parking spots on the Western Ghats (tourist spots, home stay estates, etc). My first trip to Chikamangalur made me face the unfortunate reality of 2WD limitations.
My advice is to not go for 2WD.
No problem otherwise.
