Congratulations!
If I am not mistaken, this is the first Deep Forest XUV700 on team-bhp. Yet to see one real picture of Burnt Sienna color.

Please do share more pics. Also, share the picture and price of the scuff plates. Thanks

Hopefully yes, I have not seen a Deep Forest shade in TBHP yet. Here are some more pics. Not necessarily my car, I had requested the dealer to send me Deep Forest shade in bright light and this is what I recevied. Maybe one change i wish Mahindra did blackout the grille and the alloys, with some red highlighting on the alloys it would have looked killer. I am exploring that option by the way ;)

Saw both colours during a recent visit to the ASC; must say that the Forest shade looks absolutely stunning in person; much more than the Burnt Sienna. Unfortunately forgot to click a pic since I was in a rush.

P.s. I still prefer my Everest White though :p

True, the Forest shade looks much sublte and classier than the Burnt Sienna as it was too loud for my liking.

White is a shade for all seasons, especialy with the 700, but my preference is for darker shades:)

I am assuming this is a firmware issue. I am hoping that this issue will be resolved in my first service which is due next week. I have come across at least one XUV 700 owner in this forum who faced the exact same issue. And it was resolved after firmware upgrade.

Update on this issue:
I visited service center yesterday for my 1000KM service. The issue was temporarily fixed when they re-flashed the firmware. But popped up again while I was about to drive home. As per SA, this needs to be debugged further by their technical team. I am going to visit the SS again in few days.
Any guesses what could be wrong here ? Will there be any part replacement required here ?

I had an issue with drive mode not functioning too yesterday during a night drive.

Surprisingly, however, the drive mode started working after 15-20 minutes.

I am in the market for a side foot step. Any good brand recommendations?

Mahindra is quoting 25K for the side footstep and I don't like its design too. I am looking for all black one, but at much cheaper rate.

Fellow owners, anyone had an issue with the 'key fob battery low' alert? I put in a new battery when I saw it but the alert didn't go away. Visited the service centre and it started working fine after a couple of tries; they, of course, blamed it on the battery even though it was brand new.

It has only been a few months since and the alert is popping up again. This is surely not a battery issue and the key fob will probably need some work. Does anyone have similar experience that I can share with the service team so they don't ignore it like last time?

Burnt Sienna on display @ Sireesh silkBoard/BLR.
They have one more waiting for delivery tomorrow.
Under light it appears to be more browinsh.

I'm having the same issue since almost 2 months now. Key fob low battery warning is there even though I've changed the battery. My gajraj (AX7L MT) was delivered in March '22. As expected, they are blaming it on expired or non branded battery. I'm yet to go to them due to work commitments.

Once a senior technician told me that they'll have to check something by opening up the engine bay if key battery is not the issue. Does it have a dedicated separate battery for key fob connectivity?

Please update here whatever solution is provided by them.

Happy driving :thumbs up

We have a 700 at home and similar issue happened with Dad two months back. He was using the second key fob. When I went home for the Diwali got to know the issue. Bought a battery locally and replaced the worn out battery at home. The alert message still used to show even after the battery was replaced. Kept the key fob in the designated place under the arm rest and the message disappeared.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for sharing. I have seen only 1 video of Burnt Sienna XUV700 in YouTube in past 1 month. It has been 4+ months since the color was announced in July this year and I have seen 3-4 Burnt Sienna XUV700 registering in Telangana RTO (as per RTO data).

The showrooms have bright white LED lights which makes the car look different from what I have seen in couple of dealerships in Hyderabad. I have seen Burnt Sienna on Thar Roxx. Burnt Sienna looked better on Thar Roxx inside the showroom but did not look that appealing under bright sunlight.

If the dealer can share some pictures of XUV700 Burnt Sienna under sunlight, then it would help to see how the car looks overall.

It doesn't, unfortunately. I religiously follow this routine of placing the key fob in there from day 1.

I will take it to my regular service centre in a couple of weeks, once I am back in town. Will update the thread if the issue is resolved.

I have had a fantastic ownership and service experience so far, so fingers crossed.

This error popped up last evening, and went away after a mild Italian tune-up!
The car was not used for two odd weeks, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

CTrack is a good brand, I also chose all black. You can see pictures of mine in my thread (link below). Accessory shop owner showed me pictures of 15-20 designs to chose from in all kinds of colors and designs.

Burnt Sienna color is basically chocolate brown color and mainly looks like a solid color and not metallic. Forest Green really suits the car but I didnt like brown as much on XUV700.

I had my 10K servicing done on my 700 from Mahindra PPS on the Kanakpura Main Road. I was a bit anxious about how it would go because so far I had been handling it to folks from Wheels Wisdom, but the service center folks did a stellar job right from the beginning. While scheduling, instead of PPS, the service center is called "AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURES PVT. LTD," which seems to be a different place on Google Maps.

As soon as I scheduled the service, I received a call from the rep, and they set up a WhatsApp group with multiple folks. They also arranged a pickup from my place by sending a driver from DriveU (without any additional cost). The engineer had a call with me to find out if anything else needed to be done apart from the regular servicing (there wasn't). They kept sharing the photos and videos throughout the process. They also used the MaxiMile Ultra V4 as the replacement engine oil.

They also updated the software, and the only visible change is that I can see the distance from the obstacles while reversing the moment sensors start beeping on my console. Nice!

Total cost for 10K service: ₹5,498.

Thanks, I am also exploring Ctrack. Which accessory shop did you buy Can you share the address please. Enquiries on their website have gone unanswered. I am in Whitefield and searching for shops that can provide me with options.

I have only received RH light so far, although the Boodmo websites was showing 6 days. I have cancelled previous order and placed the order again and it been 12 days now. Is there a better place to get the lights on time?

It Does not work for 10 minutes after you start the car, may be to keep car in standard more so it can heat up the DEF to nominal temperature as it does burn the soot mass till it reach above 180 Degrees.
