There’s no unusual sound when operating the windows—it's just that the one-touch up/down feature occasionally doesn’t respond as expected. I’ll have the ASC take a look at it during my next visit. I also came across a few videos on YouTube where others faced a similar issue, and it was resolved through a software update at the SC.

I presume your location is HP, where summers are far less searing than North India plains. If the AC of an INR 2 million car is unable to stand up to our summer heat then it truly is a concern. I really hope Skoda fixes this.

Another question- what's the mileage - plains & hills?

As far as I understood, nothing wrong with the AC. The fan speed is not programmed according to the ambient temperature. For example, if the ambient temperature is high and I set the AC at 22 degrees, the fan should run at full blast (ref. from Ecosport). Instead, it's running at low speeds.

FE as per my experience:

On highways in plains: 18-20 kmpl
On hills with good roads: 15-18 kmpl
On hills with bad roads: 10-13 kmpl
In moderate traffic: 13-15 kmpl
In slow traffic: 10-13 kmpl

Waiting period is about 45days. Carbon steel and black are readily available. But my daughter liked the red and I'm okay to go with the red-black combination. It's a beauty!

I am at 45,000 KMs at 2-year mark, the AC is the only problem with this car. It’s just BAD! I have known many folks who have rejected the VAG twins because of poor AC performance.

I have been using blinds all around and somehow manage to keep the cabin cool.

I have mentioned this before and will say it again.

Ask someone to use VCDS and change the HVAC settings from the default settings to "Cold tuning, more air". I used to run the a/c in Auto mode (18/19 degrees) in NCR heat but now it seldom goes below 23 degrees with an increased flow of air as well.

This one change has bought the HVAC unit of my 1.0 Style AT to the same level as my Innova Crysta.

Couple of weeks back, had visited the Skoda PPS service centre for the fix related to the rear seatbelt recall campaign.
I had also asked the SA to check an issue in the infotainment head unit as it frequently reset/reboot while in use. Especially noticed when playing music while the map is On.
SA called me later to say, there is an update available for the infotainment unit and that he shall upgrade it to the latest version. I agreed.
It’s been two weeks since and I have faced this auto reset issue at least thrice in this period. I really have NO clue if the SA, upgraded the version since I did not note the software version prior to this.

The current software version as shown in the settings tab of the unit is as below.
Software version: 0709; Hardware: H04; Build version: 18.01.31

Mine is a July 2024 manufactured car. Could someone who has purchased the car manufactured in the same period, please let me know the software version in your unit (assuming you have not upgraded it) OR can someone purchased recently let me know the current software version. I just want to know if my system was actually upgraded, OR the SA is bluffing.

Consider this as a shoutout for help as I found Slavia’s headlight to be highly in-effective.
The night drives are very risky as the throw and illumination is very poor.
In addition to this the fog lamps are as good as night lamp. Hardly help in illuminating the road.

Overall the setup is not effective and does not inspire confidence to drive at night.

Any help in terms of upgrade or bulb change will be highly appreciated from you all.

I'm currently on a 2000 km road trip covering Mumbai – Ahmedabad – Sasan Gir – Mumbai.

The manufacturer-recommended tyre pressures are 41 PSI (front) and 47 PSI (rear), which I feel are quite high. I started the trip with tyre pressures set to 36 PSI (front) and 38 PSI (rear), considering we are 3 adults, 2 kids, and carrying normal luggage.

About 50 km into the drive, I received a Low Tyre Pressure warning. I had it checked, and there was no puncture. I continued the trip with the warning on, getting the tyres checked periodically to rule out any actual issues.

Interestingly, I faced a similar tyre pressure warning during my Gujarat trip in 2024 as well.

My concerns:

1. The recommended tyre pressures seem too high. If I don't follow them, I get the low-pressure warning.


2. In city driving, the warning doesn’t appear with 36/38 PSI.


3. This warning creates unnecessary confusion during long drives.


4. Has anyone else faced this issue? Any suggestions on how to deal with it?

Did you SET the new pressures in the infotainment system after filling to 36/38 PSI. This will save the new pressure setting and only trigger warning if the pressure falls below 36/38. Otherwise it will take the reference as 41/47 and keep showing you the warning since you are way below this reference mark.
There is a SET option under 'Car' > 'Tyres' in the infotainment settings.
