I think this is the first time VAG has showcased structure for 2.0 cars, not sure what was stopping them during the launch.

Glad they are playing their cards at least now after Verna launch. clap:

The answer lies in the picture itself - Safe is invisible.. until tested. lol:
They might have been waiting for 5 stars before expanding on why their vehicles are sturdy especially with the new platform. It would have looked bad if they advertized it as safe and strong, but got 2/3 stars.

It looks like most manufacturers hesitate, to declare their cars as safe, until the actual rating comes out (maybe the testing process is so complex that they cant be sure of the results).

Encouraging to see the hot stamped steel on the roofline
I don't recall if its competitors have such thing.

Realised that we can code the instrument display to any colour.

Can this be done via vehicle settings? or it needs OBD port access etc.

Can be done only via coding via tool or any OBD dongle like OBD11, Carista etc. Have switched to a shade of VRS green now:

I was just wondering if the taillights of Virtus can be fitted into Slavia. In the body the cutout for the tail lamp seems to be similar. The only area where there is visible change is the rear trunk’s part just above number plate. Don’t know if the Virtus’ taillight part of that portion is complicated fit or simple. The abrupt way in which Slavia’s taillamp is cut doesn’t look good to me. So I am curious to know if I can fix it simply or not.

At least they should have brought back 10 inch screen in this limited special. The sticker near rear window looks poor on Slavia.

Whoever gives Skoda these sticker ideas should be fired. At least they should have provided the 10in screen, if not the sub-woofer.

Slavia Anniversary Edition sees the return of 10-inch touchscreen paired with a 380W speaker system.

This infotainment system was discontinued last year in the Kushaq and Slavia due to global semiconductor shortage.

Too much chrome on the already-chromed car! Other than 10-inch screen with sub-woofer there is nothing to look forward to in this anniversary edition.

C-pillar foil seems to be added to compete with a similar design element on the new Verna which I, in the first place, didn't like it much on the Verna itself. rl:

While I badly want to dechrome the existing Slavia, the new one comes with more chrome.

0% regret over my 3 month old purchase as the 10 inch infotainment or any new features still being absent. :p

As per Autocar India news 10 inch screen along with 380 w sound is included in anniversary edition model. So that is good thing. What is the present wattage of sound system in existing style and ambition models of Slavia. Also can we fit the subwoofer in these models without voiding warranty.
