We availed Ceramic coating services from Carzspa, Bavdhan, Pune for our new XUV700 Silver. Sharing the experience-

I called up the number listed on Google, which was answered after 10 am, Mr Kartikey answered the call and was very detailed in explaining the entire process. I asked him all the doubts, queries etc - the call went on for 45 minutes! After a lot of negotiations, here's the final quote we agreed on over the same call.

Product Used: CrystalShield Trinity 9H

Coverage:
1. Painted surfaces.
2. All glass surfaces.
3. Exterior black plastic trims[with top up after 6 months] .
4. PPF on ORVMs.
5. Interior cleaning.

Not covered: Alloy wheels [it was explained that Alloy wheels get dirty faster even if coating is done, due to brake dust and proximity to the elements]

Price: ₹25,000 for 3-year warranty

One thing that gave me confidence was both Carzspa Baner and Bavdhan were consistent in terms of product used, warranty offered and packages. This gave me the same confidence that we get while buying a branded product. Just chose the Bavdhan branch as Kartikey was more approachable and gave an extra exterior plastic trim coating complimentary! All the details were shared over email in writing.


We finalized a date and I dropped the car at their Google location at the planned time. It's next to Chellaram Hospital lane - a few 100 metres on the right side. It's a quite narrow road to take a big car like XUV700 inside the facility, had to be very careful driving in. Once @ facility - all the panels were verified for paint thickness which came out to be in the range of 110 to 170 microns which is considered to be a good paint. Kudos to Mahindra! Then car was inspected for any imperfections etc. The way bumper corner protectors were fit by the accessory person at the showroom had left marks of the double sides tape - those were immediately noticed and rectified in service. Since there was no electricity, a car received message was sent on WhatsApp. I had requested for a drop to be arranged to a nearby location from where I could avail of public transport and it was graciously arranged.

End Result:

On my request, the car was delivered home at the planned time. They took 3 days to complete the ceramic coating. To my naked eyes, the car looked very clean and the paint had a new glaze to it. Some relatives who saw the car felt like some ceramic coating had been done. Invoice and warranty details were shared over email. Let's see how it holds up over time, I will try to keep this thread updated. Thanks for reading!
